To Exchange Money  in Cancun there are several ways to do it. Which offer better exchange rates are the banks, HSBC has branches in the hotel zone in Cancun, Kukulcan plaza and  Caracol plaza and in dowtown Cancun  on Tulum avenue.

The times that the bank is normally open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Outside of working days, you can also change money at Exchange houses but a lower rate.

You can also have money in the ATM machine are located in all places of the hotel zone of Cancun, you can have cash in dollars or pesos.

The   shops, bars and restaurants accept dollars but at a lower rate so we suggest you better change money at banks.
