A spectacular cenote, with Maya luxury casitas for overnight, store, restaurant, snack-bar and lots of action. Just 3 km from the stunning Mayan site, Chichen Itza in Yucatan. The Ecological Park Ik-Kil, is located 3 km from the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, from Valladolid 35 minutes and half an hour from Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. Also known as "Sacred Blue Cenote," is one of the most visited during the year.

It is an open cenote with an area of 85 feet and its shape is perfectly round hole type, with 196 feet wide and about 130 feet deep, making it one of the largest in the peninsula Yucatan. Una opportunity to contemplate as few goldfish, turtles, stalactites and stalagmites in a frame of 61 x 43 meters with great vegetation. The cenote find waterfalls along with a surrounding lush with exotic plants and trees that are home to hundreds of wild birds, such as toucans, parrots, mockingbirds, cardinals, fly catchers, and more.

To access it you must go down a grand staircase made of stone and are small balconies where you can admire the cenote from several points. Upon arrival you will find a platform that gives you access to cool, crystal waters where you can dive and swim with many colored fishes and small cat fishes that live here. Visiting hours are Monday through Sunday from 8:00 to 17:00.
